Newista domain register service regulation is unconnected with the Newista web hosting service since we can not offer money back guarantees for any domain register payments. Due to nature of this issue, you can not register domains while you sign up for a hosting package but you can register domains from $7.99/Yr. or less anytime you want from http://order.newista.com/
How can I upgrade my hosting plan?
- You can switch between any plans listed at Shared Hosting and Reseller Hosting pages.
- Also you can increase 50% [or more] of your plan's disk and bandwidth quotas for the existing plan's 50% [or more] additional costs.
- If you have paid annually, we will calculate the prepaid existing day's credit and minus its amount from the newly upgraded account's prepaid cost. Please refer to the example upgrade options told at Shared Hosting and Reseller Hosting pages.
What are the privileges of reseller hosting accounts?
According to our statistics, most of our clients are the web hosting resellers whom are reselling the hosting plans to their local customers and webmasters. Our resellers have full privileges on their cPanel hosting accounts and hosted domains. Newista liabilities are limited to providing the services within those terms directly to the Newista customers. If a violation of TOS appears on one of Newista reseller hosting account, we will not suspent nor remove all of our reseller's accounts because of one their hosted account violation but we may suspent the hosting account which violates our TOS without asking to the reseller according to the nature of violation only in rare circumtances. For example, when the reseller's cPanel account start to run or exploit hacking or spamming scripts. Newista never contact or update the resellers customers, see Privacy but we will immediately open a ticket for our reseller hosting customer which is stating problem details and requires the updates to solve the problem.
Do you allow overselling for the resellers?
No, we do not allow you to oversell because we are not overselling!
Do you require payments for advance support?

Whats the cost of a dedicated IP?

What is the cost of setting my own name servers for my reseller hosting plan?
We have to dedicate 2 IPs for your own name servers as ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com so you have to purchase 2 dedicated IPs for those name servers then we will setup your own name servers for free. Except DBR1, MBR1 and DBS1 plans, 2 IPs included with any reseller hosting plans.
May I install my own SSL for my cPanel hosting accounts?
You can reinstall your own SSL or You can purchase any kind of SSL and install them at your cPanel admin for your domain.
Will you think to raise your price ?

How long will it take to set up my account?
We activate the hosting accounts with their included IPs manually. Generally your account will be setup within an hour. On rare occasions it can take up to 12 hours, depending on how many orders we receive at the moment and fraud risks. You will receive an email once your account has been set up always within 24hours. Once your account has been activated Newista Sales sends the "account activation" e-mail.
Do You support PHP5?
PHP5 installed cPanel servers are available. Please mention "Activate my plan from the PHP5 server" in the additional comment box while ordering your hosting plan.
Why PHP5 separately supported?
We have regular cPanel installed servers, refer http://www.newista.com/phpinfo.php . PHP 5+ Versions are not officially supported by cPanel Corp. and Newista policy is that we should not claim 100% uptime and functionality for the servers which are not configured and/or running applications which are not officially supported by cPanel Corp. But we are able to provide 99.9X% uptime on PHP5 installed servers too.
Am I loosing anything because I am hosted by the regular cPanel installed servers?
Absolutely No, in fact your websites hosted by the servers which are configured with 100% proven applications and their versions to provide 100% uptime and functionality for your hosting accounts. There are only a few PHP applications require PHP5 version or higher but almost all PHP applications require PHP 4.x versions.
Does Newista have any content limitations?
No, We provide web space and it is your concern to how to fill it. You may host anything with us. You are the responsible for the files being hosted at your accounts. We only don not allow you to host IRC servers on Virtual Server Accounts and exploitable scripts. We have not any filesize limits to download and upload . Our servers connected to the internet with 100mbps lines and this means you can burst your bandwidth instantly when it is needed without any restriction.

What are the Newista server resource usage rights?
Resource Usages per site [cPanel] accounts.
Note: Server resource usages limits are very sensitive issues. As a shared hosting provider we have to apply these restrictions otherwise a webserver maybe hanged on just because of an account due to several inproper usages. Before comparing Newista with any other hosting services which are offerring TBs of Disk and Bandwidth with their shared hosting accounts but disable you to use your bought disk and bandwidth quotas by their Usage Limits, Please consider that our resource usage limits specified to provide maximum performance for your hosting accounts and regular server specifications of Newista which are: 64bit Dual Opteron 246 CPU [4000MHz+ CPU Speed], 2*1024MB L2 Cache, 3GB+ RAMs, SCSI RAID5 Disks.. and 100mbps connection per server.
* We may suspent any cPanel accounts temporarily when we start to experience the accounts start to [or cause to] overload the server or/and disturb the general functionality of the server. Newista system administrators open a ticket in the name of you from your http://members.newista.com/ client admin to notify the suspension reasons and to discuss the nature of the problem. Your site account may be suspent when they;
- Start to use more than 20% of the CPU [More than 1000MHz CPU Speed] for longer than 60 seconds.
For example: Installing the PHPNuke portal via Fantastico takes max. 5seconds and wont use more than 500MHz CPU.
- Start to use more than 20% of the RAM for longer than than 60seconds.
- Start to use more than 20 MySQL connections at the same time.
For example: If 20 different visitors enter to [or refresh] the PHP pages of your website *at the same time* then it appears that 20 MySQL connections at the same time from your cPanel account. A website like that approx. must have hundreds of visitors online. If you have those kind of very busy websites built by PHP then you have to consider a dedicated or a VPS solution instead trying to fit them into a shared hosting. You may contact with Newista for those kind of needs and suggestions.
- Start to attract Ddos and brute force attacks, http floods and Newista may suggest a VPS or Dedicated upgrade when those mailicious server access issues become chronic matters of your website.
- Start to host "pee-to-peer", "bit torrent", IRC[d]s and any other related or similar applications that cPanel does not able to track their bandwidth usages.
- Start to run cron with frequency less than in 30minutes.
- Start to send more than 200 e-mails / Hour per website accounts.
Note: You may issue thousands of e-mails in a day but by hourly blocks as it fits this restriction by using mailing list feature of the cPanel or phplist application from Fantastico .
Important Note: If you are a regular internet user, You may be confused due to above specified rules. Simply, we do not allow the websites or applications being hosted by the clients whom try to fit them in to a shared hosting plan altough they require a standalone dedicated server to run.
Does Newista Web Hosting Service accepts international domain/TLD's ?
We are able to host every domain names from any country around the world.
How do I transfer [point your domain name servers] my domain to Newista Web Hosting Service?
You can initiate the process by logging into your domain registrar account and redirecting [pointing] your name servers according to the newista name servers. Please refer to the activation email for details. If you are unable to change your domain's DNSs or have not enough technical knowledge to do so, please open ticket from http://members.newista.com/ and we will get it done on your behalf. Once the name servers have been updated, your domain name would be able to retrieve data from our server within 24 [You have to allow 72hours for 100% DNS propagation all over the ISPs.]
Do you support Front Page Extensions?
By default Front Page Extensions are enabled.
Do you allow shell access?
cPanel's jailed shell enabled for any cPanel accounts on demand, you have to open ticket from your http://members.newista.com/ admin.
